Travel and Tourism

This qualification provides a more vocational perspective where students develop all the necessary skills required in Travel and Tourism. The course also offers students the choice to personalise their path of study and obtain a qualification that meets both their individual aptitudes and interests.  More specifically this qualification will enable students to:

  • Appreciate the importance of the host destinations and communities to the industry;
  • Develop practical and technical skills relevant to the travel and tourism industry;
  • Understand the impact of information and communication technology (ICT);
  • Participate in visits to travel and tourism organisations and destinations.
